About

Theodora Boormans multi-disciplinary practice explores the construction of narratives and memory-making. Her work is grounded in approaches to history and the interface between the present and perceptions of the past in relation to storytelling. Boormans work invites the viewer to engage with a diverse range of voices: she seeks to enable vernacular expressions of identity and narrative.

Boorman obtained an MA in Public History (distinction) and worked with world class collections in museums and archives in Oxford for 16 years. Her work has been shown in the UK, and sold to collectors in the UK, Europe and the United States.
